Connect the route. Verify the return.
Use the direction you need, then complete the short pre-show check before relying on timecode.
Install
Run the signed installer
Open the Creative Touring Timecode Bridge macOS package and follow the Installer prompts. Core Audio restarts briefly while the two dedicated timecode devices are installed.
Allow confidence monitoring
Open Timecode Bridge and allow microphone access when macOS asks. The bridge uses this permission only to decode its virtual return path and confirm the LTC signal that Resolume receives.
Confirm the devices
TC BRIDGE LTC OUTPUT carries generated LTC into Resolume. TC BRIDGE LTC INPUT accepts LTC from OFFSET, Ableton, or another application on the same Mac. Neither device should carry program audio.
Art-Net → LTC
Choose the Art-Net adapter
Select the wired or Wi-Fi adapter receiving ArtTimeCode from ShowKontrol or another Art-Net sender.
Set Resolume
In Resolume Audio Preferences, choose TC BRIDGE LTC OUTPUT as the Audio Input Device. Assign Input 1 to SMPTE Timecode Input 1 and select the frame rate displayed by Timecode Bridge.
Start and verify
Start the bridge. Before show playback, confirm sender lock, the expected packet rate, LTC VERIFIED, and SHOW READY. The output level remains fixed at −3.7 dBFS.
LTC → Art-Net
Send LTC into the bridge
In OFFSET, Ableton, or the source application, select TC BRIDGE LTC INPUT as the dedicated audio output carrying LTC.
Choose the destination
Select LTC → Art-Net in Timecode Bridge. Choose Local Machine · 127.0.0.1 for another app on this Mac, or choose the wired or Wi-Fi show-network adapter for an external destination.
Start and verify
Confirm LTC LOCKED, the detected frame rate, approximately 30 packets per second for 30 fps timecode, and SHOW READY before relying on the route.
Pre-show check
Test movement
Run forward playback, pause and resume, make a deliberate timecode jump, and confirm the receiver follows each state without unexpected skips.
Test recovery
Interrupt the sender briefly and restore it. Confirm Timecode Bridge reacquires the same sender, returns to SHOW READY, and never falls back to speakers or another audio device.
Keep the Mac awake
Enable the bridge sleep-prevention option for unattended operation. Leave the selected audio device, show-network adapter, and frame rate visible during the show.
